Connie has a B.Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and is currently pursuing her Master in Design Engineering degree at Harvard University. She likes describing herself as someone with a designer’s eye, an engineer’s mind, and a business person’s intuition; extremely curious, and loves a neatly organized wall of Post-Its and ticking things off a to-do list.

Most fueled when thinking about the role of “design” across scales and form factors, she took up urban sustainability and social entrepreneurship at Brown University, and spent a summer in Copenhagen with the Danish Institute of Study Abroad (DIS), learning mid-century modern furniture design & production at Fritz Hansen and IKEA.

During her time at RISD, she was co-leader of DESINE-Lab, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that implements design strategy and architecture as means of alleviating social, economical, and environmental issues in post-crisis and developing communities.

In her career, she’s done everything from detailing door handles to designing global brand and user experiences. She seeks challenging and unique experiences rather than conventional professional milestones and goals. Driven by a curiosity for complex problems, she works best in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.

Above all else, she greatly values the people in her life, and understands the difference a supportive and collaborative team (that knows how to have fun!) can make.
